- Jimmie Johnson nudged Kurt Busch out of the way with two laps to go to win Sunday’s LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Johnson officially scored his fifth victory of the 2010 season by .753 seconds over Tony Stewart, who passed Busch on the final lap for second-place. The victory was Johnson’s third in 17 races at New Hampshire and his 52nd in 308 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
Johnson averaged 113.308 mph in a race that took 2 hours, 48 minutes and 38 seconds to complete. Nine drivers exchanged the lead 14 times while four cautions slowed the pace for 19 laps.
